Getting Started

How do I create a Poop Maids customer account?

Once you complete your first booking you will be asked to create a new account. Answer a few questions and confirm your email address and you’re all set!

Do you service my area?

We currently only service the Peninsula, but due to our rapid growth, we will soon expand to more cities in the Bay Area.

Should I unlock my gate?

We will need access to your yard if you are not at home. We can make various arrangements with you to ensure that our gaining access is as easy as possible for you.

What do you do with the dog waste?

As part of our service we haul away all dog waste with every cleaning and dispose of it in designated landfill, that way you never have to deal with it… especially the bad odor. We do this at no additional charge.

Manage Your Account

How do I log into my account?

You can log into your account by clicking ‘Login’ at the top or bottom of our website. You can also create a new booking and sign in at the confirmation window.

How do I change my password?

To change your password log into the customer portal and access the drop-down menu by clicking on the person icon in the top right corner. From there select ‘change password’ and enter your old password along with the new password you choose.

How do I reset my password?

To reset your password access the sign in page and choose the forgot password link at the bottom. Enter the email address you registered with and an email will be sent to you with instructions on resetting your password.

How do I change my credit card?

To change a credit card log into the customer portal and access the drop-down menu by clicking on the person icon in the top right corner. From there select ‘billing info’ and add or remove credit cards in your customer profile.

How do I book my first poop scooping service?

Our booking page has a few simple steps you must take in order to book a service. Simply fill out the form, select the service plan you desire and proceed to payment details.

Pricing & Policies

How much will it cost?

Our pricing is built into our booking page. Select the service you wish to purchase and an exact price is displayed with NO HIDDEN FEES!

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

All of the information provided to us is kept on a remote server, which cannot be physically tampered with. On top of that, any staff member with administration access to our system must pass a 2 step authentication process to log in.

How do I pay for the pooper scooper service?

We only accept credit/debit cards – No cash or checks. We prefer to keep the usage of paper to a minimum, as an environmentally aware company, and as such will automatically charge your credit/debit card on file per service visit.

Can you work with my dog(s) in the yard?

Yes, we love dogs and love being around them. We would like to meet you and your dog on our first visit so that everyone is introduced and we are welcomed into your yard for future service visits. However, if your dog is somewhat aggressive and likely to stop us from getting onto your property, it will have to be confined while we clean up the yard, as we will have to charge a regular service visit fee if we haven’t been able to gain access because of your dog.

What if I want to skip a service day?

Not a problem. Just call or email us and we can skip your service as long as we have 24 hours notice. You will not be charged any extra when the service resumes as long as it is not longer than 2 weeks. Any periods longer than that, if the dog has been using the yard, a charge will be applicable to the discretion of Poop Maids, but will not exceed a fee of $75.

Do you still come out and clean if the weather is bad?

We work in all but the very worst weather conditions. Very heavy rainfall and lightning will prevent us from cleaning your yard. If the safety of our technicians is at risk we will not work in those circumstances. We will clean up all the dog waste missed at no extra charge on the next visit.

Do you work on holidays?

The days we do not work are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Service days will usually move along one day from the usual service day in a week containing one of the above holidays.

Can I trust my pet waste technician?

Absolutely! Our employees are carefully selected and vetted through our hiring process.

Do the pet waste technicians go through a background check?

All of our employees are required to supply a criminal record background check during the hiring process.
