Gleamworx, LLC (dba Poop Maids)

By using the poopmaids.com web site (“Service”), a service of Poop Maids, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”).

Poop Maids reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

By ordering the service you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Access to Property

  1. By ordering the residential service you are agreeing to allow Poop Maids staff members access to the designated yard or kennel areas of your property on the designated service day, each week.
  2. If a Poop Maids staff member is not allowed access to your property on the designated service day, for whatever reason, the service will be recorded as completed and is deemed chargeable.  You will be informed of the reason access to your property was prevented.

Billing & Pricing

  1. By ordering the service, you are authorizing Gleamworx, LLC to charge your card per service visit for the value of your chosen frequency and number of dogs, until you cancel.
  2. Poop Maids currently offer one method of payment; credit/debit card.  We prefer to keep the usage of paper to a minimum, as an environmentally aware company, and as such charge your credit/debit card within 24 hours of the completed visit, and do not send out paper invoices.
  3. The prices for the service are outlined on the ‘Service Rates’ page of our website (poopmaids.com) relating to whichever specific service type is relevant.  Poop Maids reserves the right to change prices at any time, without notice.  The amount billed/charged will never be any higher than the published rates on our website.

  1. These prices are applicable for properties up to 10,000 sq ft of total land, which includes real property and yards (front and back) combined, and up to 4 dogs.  For prices for any larger jobs please contact us for a free quote.

Guarantee/Complaints

  1. Poop Maids offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.  We ensure your satisfaction by re-visiting your property on the next working day of your notification that you are not satisfied that all of your dog’s waste has been removed from your property.  The only stipulations to this guarantee are that the waste has to be in an area of the yard that Poop Maids has been told to clean.  Also, if the grass is very long or the yard is covered in leaves, we cannot guarantee our work (we cannot remove what we cannot see).  Notification must be made to the Poop Maids office telephone number 650-376-0233 and within 24 hours of your last service.  If the notification is out of normal business hours, a message can be left on our voicemail system to be dealt with on the next working day.  We require that you notify us within 24 hours of your last service, as we need to be able to assess whether the job was done correctly – any longer than 24 hours means that this assessment is not possible.
  2. For any complaints, please call the Poop Maids telephone number 650-376-0233 during business hours if a quick response is required.  Alternatively please email us at info@poopmaids.com.  We are committed to responding to your complaint in a professional and courteous manner and to try our utmost to resolve any situation to the satisfaction of you, the customer.

Cancellation & Termination of Service

  1. If it is necessary for you to change, cancel or skip your regular service day, you must do so by 5pm the day before service to avoid a $50 cancellation fee. All notifications must be made by sending us an email, or by signing into your account and manually cancelling yourself. Telling the pet waste technician when he/she arrives at your home is not considered notification. If you do not notify our office and upon arrival we cannot enter your yard, we will charge you a $50 cancellation/lock out fee to cover our expenses. Our technicians’ daily pay is based on ‘yards to clean’ scheduled. When you skip on short notice or lock out the technician, we do not have time to fill in your spot and our technicians’ pay is affected. It also can cause scheduling problems with our other clients. Should you at any time require a change or modification of the cleaning detail or instructions, or wish to change the service schedule of frequency, an email or phone call to our office is the surest way of accomplishing this. The poop scooping technician is instructed to follow the instructions as they appear on their personalized work order and that is a reflection of the information agreed to when you booked your service through our website or by phone.
  2. Similarly you can terminate the service at any time as long we have received notice within 24 hours of the start of your designated service day.

Refunds

  1. Since pet waste removal is a personalized and subjective service, Poop Maids cannot offer refunds of any kind to clients. This includes the total cleaning fee or a portion of the cleaning fee. If you are not happy, we will come back and re‐clean the area(s) you were not happy with free of charge according to our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

General

  1. Poop Maids, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your service for any reason, at any time.
  2. Poop Maids reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
  3. Poop Maids shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
  4. The use of the service is at your sole risk.  The service is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis.
  5. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse, negative reviews (including social media) or retribution) of any Poop Maids customer or employee, or the Company itself, will result in immediate termination of service without notice or refund.
  6. You expressly understand and agree that Poop Maids shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages.
  7. By ordering the service you understand that we may send you communications via electronic mail.  You will have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving electronic mail from us by following the opt-out instructions provided in the message.
  8. Providing order information with a lower number of dogs than actually use the yard may result in suspension or termination of service without refund.  Your rate will be automatically increased to the number of dogs found in your yard/home on a consistent basis, without notice. It is your responsibility to inform Poop Maids of the accurate number of dogs using your yard on a regular basis.
  9. The days we do not work are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, although we reserve the right to work on these days should we choose to do so.  If your service falls on one of those days we will clean your yard either directly before or after the holiday.  In any week that includes these holidays, your service day will probably be moved one day forward or back.
